I’ve always thought of the month of May as the “flower month” when parades and fiestas. When I was younger, my family accompanied my grandma to Gapan, Nueva Ecija (her hometown province) every May for the yearly fiesta. There were bazaars stalls in the town center, selling a variety of goods from food to household knick-knacks. But my favorite were the parades. The town’s most beautiful ladies paraded under a garland of flowers, followed by a marching band. Now, imagine all that but replace the “beautiful ladies” with dogs…

The Town Floral Festival & Pawrade is another fun event brought to you by BabyMoon Pawprints and Paws & Tails. You can check out the festivities this coming Saturday, 25 May 2013 at the Town Plaza of Alabang Town Center from 10AM to 5PM. There will be Pet Blessing, Floral Costume Competition, and a Floral Float Competition and Pawrade.
The past few months have been so hectic that I haven’t really blogged much about our own pack. Even worse, my iMac’s hard drive decided to conk out after 4 years of uninterrupted use (I’m lucky the service technician was able to retrieve my files!). A lot has happened — we’ve lost beloved furry friends along the way, but also gained new ones. One particular meowing “dog”, in fact.

Pet One Dog Care on Wheels will have its first stop at the SM Fairview Atrium Annex 2 this coming Sunday, 21 April 2013. It’s going to be a whole-day event, from 10AM to 7PM. Well, at least now I’m able to take a breather… Things are starting to settle down at work with Christmas just around the corner. Besides, I missed blogging about my dogs!
So much has happened the past two months the dogs and I have been absent online, I don’t know where to start. But since the holiday break is near, you can expect a lot of updates in Pinoy Dog-Lover! Hope to see more of you guys here soon… We missed you!
