Sheero’s first post: My Taste Asia Adventure

I’ve always found it weird blogging “for” my dogs, like as if they’re the ones writing the entries. But in this instance, I find no better way than to tell the Taste Asia party in Sheero’s perspective. Enjoy! :D

Sheero at the Taste Asia party in SM Hypermarket

My dad Marc wanted to go to the Mall of Asia early, he had a meeting with a client, so my mommy Gail decided that I should have my first ever flea bath and grooming session while waiting for him. I nearly threw up during the trip up the carpark (the spiral driveway made me so dizzy), and I really, really hated the man who cleaned my ears and soaked me in the bath! I was already in a bad mood, my mom didn’t make me wear my bling-bling. Good thing she bought me a fashionable denim shirt, or I’d be in a terrible, terrible mood.

My mom picked me up (my dad still in a meeting) with her friend Juned, who told the nice lady at Animal House they don’t have clothes for fishies (he’s a fish-lover), on their way to the Taste Asia party at SM Hypermarket. He also carried Tita Aileen‘s hamsters (it took every inch of my willpower not to nip at them!).

I felt like a real celebrity at the party! I even got a printed name tag, while my mom’s was only handwritten. People even asked for my autograph, can you believe that? I don’t know how to write, so I just gave them fans my paw print instead of signing my name. Tito Mike thinks I’m “so cutie,” while the other Tito Mike kept touching my fur (or was it my tail?). I wanted to play with the kid with Tita Dine, but Tito Chris was holding my leash. I also met Tito Jayvee, who wanted me to meet Hondo, and Tita Sharm. Tita Noemi took my picture (I looked like an evil dog with glowing eyes! Rawr!), and I wanted to nip off Tita Lauren‘s hand again (I smelled cats!).

I spent the rest of the evening eating barbecue (I had an entire barbecue all to myself!), while listening to Tito Eugene, Tita Sasha, Tito Rico and my mom and dad chat about something called blogging, and avoiding that evil, evil Guitarchic‘s clutches (I suspect that she’s a hamster-lover. Grrrr…).

I wanted to take home barbecue, but there were still humans to feed when we left. Taste Asia definitely beats eating dried dog food all day!

oh the kid with Tita Dine is a young kid blogger like you (http://alanjr.com.ph), and it would have been a heartwarming experience for him to have played with you. promise! you see, he is not allowed by his dad to have a friend like you inside the house. what he does is just go to tiendesitas and savor some time with your friends there. :)

  2. Juned says:

Fishes have castles and breeding tanks :)

  3. Eugene says:

Hi Sheero! It was very, very nice meeting you, though I didn’t get to shake your paw. :-)

Hi Sheero. My name is Lucas and I’m a woofie blogger just like you. Wow, you got to eat with the humans at Taste Asia at SM? So lucky of you! Oh, and Animal House at SM MOA is also where I go for my vaccinations. :)

  7. noemi says:

too bad Lauren’s cats are too scaredy cats. And our dog too frisky. Sheero seems well-behaved though

  8. jun says:

Oh, I thought your mommmy and daddy were your pets (kidding) and uncle Juned was your assistant. May I apply to be your bodyguard or manager?

You are not cute. You are super cute =) You should organize your own blog meet sponsored by Pedigree or something. We only have a pet turtle and not a very cuddly one at that. We can’t have non-humans with fur or feathers because my daughter has very sensitive skin (not to mention my neighbor doesn’t like barking). Maybe I should get them a virtual pet or something.

I hope to see you again and do an interview or a barkcast =)

  9. Rico says:

  12. Gail says:

Sheero sez thanks for the comments to her entry. She thinks of getting her own blog one day :D

Sheero sez she will give Guitarchic a growl when she sees her again. Hehehehehehe

  13. Chuck Mieser says:

I like the dog. In Cambodia pictures of the dog would be followed up with pictues of the dog after it was eaten I am assumeing that your dog is OK?

  14. Gail says:

@Chuck Mieser: Why, of course! My dogs are more than ok, they’re pretty spoiled actually. That’s horrible. I’ve seen a dog once being slaughtered on the street by a group of hoods who looked like they could slaughter me next and I couldn’t bear to watch :(

  15. Hi Sheero!! I’m glad you enjoyed the TasteAsia party. Humans should have more of these events eh?

I wish I could bring my dog to such, not many parties my dog can go to around where I live.
