For somebody who spent the last few weeks moping and crying over a furry best friend who passed away, I find it UNBELIEVABLY CRUEL that some people actually thought it’s a work of art to put a live, starving dog on display.
And I thought I’ve seen the worst of animal cruelty seeing a dog run over by a car on the street. This is unbelievable. Does he derive pleasure seeing the dog tortured like that? It’s cruel, absolutely cruel.
Help sign the petition boycotting this cruel artist.
Art is supposed to be beautiful. And I don’t see anything beautiful in such cruelty AT ALL.
More details here.

ugh this artist can be punished for violating the law on animal welfare.

Can’t we report him for violating Sectiion 6 of Republic Act No. 8485, THE ANIMAL WELFARE ACT OF 1998?
“SECTION 6: It shall be unlawful for any person to torture any animal, to neglect to provide adequate care, sustenance or shelter, or maltreat any animal or to subject any dog or horse to dogfights or horsefights, kill or cause or procure to be tortured or deprived of adequate care, sustenance or shelter, or maltreat or use the same in research or experiments not expressly authorized by the Committee on Animal Welfare.”

Personally, I do hope this isn’t true, because I always wish cruelty isn’t true.
That Snopes writer probably has eye problems. Even if those scabs were just “makeup,” just one look at how thin the dog is, you’ll know that the dog is being mistreated. Dogs don’t get that thin unless they’re starved.
I pity that Snopes writer’s dog (if he or she even has one), when its owner doesn’t even know if a dog that thin isn’t being mistreated.
“Well-fed?” That gallery director’s got to be kidding. Or he just really needs his eyes checked. The poor dog makes my healthy dogs look overly obese!
