Shantee survived her first-ever New Year celebration. Actually, I even think she took it in stride, although she was really scared of sparklers

Yesterday, I finally got my movie fix—I haven’t been out of the house for more than a month because of my work load. So, after my torture, Marc (my husband) and I decided to dine and relax at Eastwood City Walk since it’s the closest to our house. That’s when I found out about a pet blessing to be held on Sunday, 430pm at Eastwood City.
In celebration of the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, there will be a parade of the saint’s image together with pet owners and their beloved animals. A mass will follow, then the pet blessing. Marc and I are planning to bring Sheero along, since she’s the only dog we have who can manage to stay well-behaved at events where there are a lot of people—she’s a real “party animal!” Besides, she likes going there
Hopefully by Sunday, Sheero will become a bona fide Roman Catholic hehehe.
See you there!

St. Francis of Assisi is known for being the patron saint of animals. And last October 4 was his feast day. The same day was declared as the October World Animal Day.
A lot sure is happening for our animal friends this month!
Now give those furry friends of yours an extra hug… It’s their month!
